Khux Die and Continue Still Get Rewards

Lucky updated me on the details the moment they were revealed. There's a lot to talk about regarding this, so i'll break it down.

(Under the cut because as usual, I run my mouth. If you're an NA KHUX player, at least skim it. You'll see just what the damage is.)

Regarding the WOFF Medals & details on them being NERFED.

Firstly, the cost for the "normal" WOFF medals (excluding WOFF Sora [S]) got upped by 1 (1->2 cost). 1 tier buff/debuffs from these medals only last 2 turns as opposed to the 3 turns in JP KHUX. Guilt tier for all of them got nerfed from tier 4 to 3.

Secondly, WOFF Sora [S] got nerfed, big time. His buff & debuff now only last 1 turn as opposed to 3 turns. The number of hits increased from 8 to 13, however his guilt tier got nerfed from 5 to 4. Cost got reduced from 5 to 4, but that's still a lot.
In short, WOFF Sora [S] gets OUTCLASSED by Jack&Sally [M] in NA KHUX. Which is stupid. The amount of changes made to the WOFF Sora [S] medal is unlike anything we've seen so far.

On another note, it's currently vague whether the attacks dealt by the WOFF medals in NA KHUX are of neutral damage or super effective damage. The description isn't too clear on that. In JP KHUX, they deal super effective damage. The description doesn't use the same wording as Jack [M], but NA KHUX has never been good at being consistent, so please be careful.

HSE with WOFF Medals

Then, there's the disaster HSE going on. The only medals that give score bonus are the WOFF medals they just so meticulously nerfed.

In JP KHUX, Ariel&Flounder [M] and Sebastian [P] got released before KH1 Kairi illust [P]. That made them highly desirable and powerful boosting medals. For PSQ purposes, you only really need Sebastian, since he's the AOE GAU+3 boost complimenting KH1 Kairi illust [P]'s Single GAU+3 boost.

 I'd recommend just trying to get Sebastian [P]  if anything, since KH1 Kairi illust [P] is already the GAU+3 staple on most decks, and she's obtainable more easily.

Regarding the box: I don't even believe there's a guarantee for any WOFF medals appearing if you pull. They guarantee two 3 dotted 6 star medals, another 6 star medal, and 5 star medals for the rest of it. WOFF medals only appear in a 6 star form.

While Ariel&Flounder [M] is desirable, sacrificing so much and being stuck with medals that were turned into absolute crap in NA KHUX, is not worth it imho. Especially when jewels are so hard to get, the cost doesn't weigh up against the reward.

WOFF medals aren't even full-fledged premiums. It's convenient to have at least one of them in JP KHUX, and WOFF Sora [S] packs a punch under the right circumstances, since he and the others always deal super effective damage.

In JP KHUX, they were in "economy boxes" , meaning you could pull 5 medals for 1500 jewels (instead of 10 for 3000) and then be guaranteed at least 1 of them. This automatically made JP players realize that they were never meant to be super desirable, nor were they super powerful (again, with the exception of WOFF Sora [S]).

They're NOT permanent additions to the medal pool, and disappear once the box ends. IF or when they return is unknown.

In short, this whole thing is a mess of ridiculously nerfed medals. Could you spare to scout once for them? Sure you could. But you're not guaranteed a WOFF medal, and they're really not as good as the premium/illust medals we usually strive to get.

I advice you to try to get Sebastian [P], he should be a score award at least. I think it's wisest to settle with just Sebastian [P], or, if you have KH1 Kairi illust [P], sit this one out. HSE are very unreliable to begin with, since this is where whales shine.

If it's of any consolation, we really only need one GAU+3 medal, and KH1 Kairi illust [P] fits the bill. Any others are just a bonus to make our lives and PSQ struggles easier.
